About Us
Who We Are
We are the independent editorial team behind dulcimers.com.au, an Australian review and information website focused on pokies near me. Our role is to research, review and explain — nothing more. We are not a gambling operator, we do not run any pokies venues or online casinos, and we never accept wagers or handle player funds. Everything you read on this site is provided for informational purposes only, so you can compare your options with confidence.

We believe that good decisions start with good information, and that is what we set out to provide every day in 2026 and beyond.

Editorial Independence
We want to be upfront about how this site is funded. Dulcimers.com.au earns affiliate commissions when readers follow certain links and sign up or engage with third-party services. This is how we keep the site free to use. However, these commissions do not influence our editorial rankings, ratings or reviews in any way. Our assessments are based on our own research and editorial judgement, and we strive to be fair, accurate and balanced in everything we publish. If something does not meet our standards, we say so — regardless of any commercial relationship.
Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling
Gambling should always be treated as a form of entertainment, never as a way to make money or solve financial problems. Our content is intended strictly for readers aged 18 and over, in line with the legal gambling age in Australia. We encourage all readers to set limits on time and money spent, to never chase losses, and to take breaks regularly. If gambling stops being fun, or if you are concerned about your own play or someone else's, support is available. Services such as Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858) offer free, confidential assistance across Australia.
